the broken main. theain broke yesterday on charles street, forcing businesses to close for the day. they checked for safety hazards. >> you have valves that are located throughout this area and throughout the metropolitan area. they get turned a number of times to turn off the water. >> roads within a four-block radius have been shut down. the water has not been shut off and repairs have not started yet. no timeframe for when that will be fixed. >> a winter storm is now drenching the communities in

something to look forward to. we lucked out with this one. >> right now the major roads are checking out ok. we have two left lanes closed with an accident in the northbound direction. all lanes are open in the southbound direction. we have a crash at chapel road and ridge road. closures in the city at charles and lanvale because of the water main breaks. looking pretty good. up to speak on the entire beltway. this is 795 and traffic picking up in the southbound direction. this is 95 north of the beltway
